Immediate need for Purchasing Manager seeking stability, growth and work in a fast paced environment.The Logistics/Purchasing Manager will manage all aspects of purchasing including selecting and assessing vendors as well as manage the daily shipment activities. The Logistics/Purchasing Manager will oversee sourcing, planning, MRP, inventory, logistics and replenishment activities and be knowledgeable in negotiation shipping contracts, monitoring current market pricing, working with custom brokers, freight carriers, and vendors. Must have 5+ years purchasing/logistics experience as well as understanding international transportation of goods.Working in a manufacturing environment and thorough understanding of MRP concepts.
